A very special
presentation on "OM"
with
Satya and Sadasiva Greenstone,
6:30-8:30 p.m.
According to classical yoga, every “thing” manifest comes
from one primordial vibration, symbolized by OM. Join the Harmony
community for this extraordinary event devoted to the sacred and
mystical Sanskrit word, which represents that which is infinite and
divine.
The workshop will include discussion of the meaning of OM, its symbol,
and how all mantras derive from it. Our presenters will balance
philosophy with interactive practice, in meditation, mantra japa, and
chanting.
Satya and Sadasiva Greenstone have shared the teachings of Sri Gurudev,
Swami Satchidananda for more than 40 years — in schools,
hospitals, prisons, universities, and yoga centers around the world.
Together, they started the Yogaville Vidyalayam (school for children)
at the Satchidananda Ashram in Connecticut and at Yogaville, Virginia.
They conduct teacher-training programs, silent retreats, and workshops
in Europe, India, and across the United States. They express a depth of
knowledge in the classic works of India and have the ability to convey
ancient wisdom in a manner that is both light-hearted and
illuminating. Satya, past director of Integral Yoga Teacher
Training Programs, also trains yoga teachers and hosts special
workshops at Yogaville.
